Welcome to a paradise in the Värmland wilderness! With forest and greenery as the nearest neighbour, this pleasant and cozy cottage is isolated and without visibility.
The cottage has room for 6 people divided over a family bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed and another double sofa bed in the glass veranda. The kitchen is simply and functionally equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven and a stove with two plates.
In the annex you have a very fresh sauna with hygiene areas and a relaxation room.
From the well-sized terrace you have a panoramic view over the forests and down towards the nearest lake, Stora Gla, which is about 400 meters from the cottage.
Things to do in Arvika and the surrounding area
From the cabin you have close to endless marked nature trails and you can get hiking maps in the info center in Lenungshammar. Here you can also rent canoes and equipment for your hiking trip. The Glaskogen nature reserve is about 5 minutes away with car from the cabin and a tip is to stop at Cafe Carl for a coffee on the way. For those interested in history, you only have a short car ride of 20 minutes to Sjöänd's redoubt, which is one of the largest and best preserved from the 2nd World War.
For a slightly longer day trip, a visit to the cozy town of Arvika, which invites you to a thriving cultural life, magnificent nature and a number of nice shops and restaurants, is possible.
