Here you can hike in forests and along the coastline, fish in Mälaren or paddle canoe in the calm waters. This makes the island a versatile destination suitable for both relaxation and active holidays. Canoe can be rented at Brostugan at Kärsön just 4 km away.
From here you have only 2 km to Drottningholm Palace and Drottningholm Park. In the park, you can take the opportunity to visit the waffle hut or Café Karamellan. Lovön has a rich history that stretches back to the Viking Age. There are many cultural and historical attractions here, such as Lovö church and Viking graves. This can be an interesting feature for those interested in history and culture. If you like hiking, here is the Fornstigen, which is a 20 km long hiking trail and takes you through Lovön's history.
