Large holiday home on a beautiful farm with active agriculture, located by Sweden's 10th largest lake, Bolmen. You can enjoy the amazing view over the lake from the balcony, which is upstairs, where you also live. The lower floor consists of a large wine cellar.
In the lake there is plenty of pikeperch, pike and perch, and there is a boat to rent for 1000 SEK / week together with engine (4 strokes) for 1500 SEK / week. You do this at Bolmstad Säteri, where you can also buy a fishing license.
The house has 5 bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen where the whole family can cook in. Right by the water there is a shared sauna to use.
If you want to enjoy warm sand between your toes, there is a sandy beach at Bolmstad harbor, where you can also enjoy a waffle at a cozy waffle café that is open in summer.
If you need to shop, the nearest store is Lanthandeln in Tannåker.
Visit Tiraholms Fisk which is located on the east side of Bolmen in Halland. There is more than just a farm shop (lake fishing, smokehouse, fish restaurant, hotel and conference).
Unnaryd, which is 8 km away, is a nice little town with small shops where you can stroll around, and then have dinner at the restaurant Alebo.
Are you looking for more restaurants, shopping and museums such as Sagomuseet and the Sven Ljungberg Museum, you should visit Ljungby. There are also plenty of second-hand shops.
If you looking for activities for the whole family, Ljungby also offers a swimming pool, outdoor and adventure pool, mini golf and paddle. South of Ljungby is Elinge Älgpark, where you can feed moose.
