This is the place for those of you who value the peace and quiet of the countryside. The house is nestled in lush greenery with stunning views of open countryside. An extra cottage of 45 square meters where 4 people can live. There are 2 single beds in a bedroom and a sleeping loft with 2 single beds.
In the extra cabin there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. A large room with open to the ridge with a wonderful view of the countryside. There is a fantastic, tiled stove here as a piece of jewelry for the room.
In the large house there is a double bed upstairs, double bed in open room upstairs (good for children), single bed in open room upstairs. Sofa bed in bedroom next to the kitchen downstairs.
Here, up to 3 families, relatives and friends can have a cozy holiday. Pets are also welcome in this house. Large plot for the dogs to run on.
Large kitchen with dining area. From the kitchen you make your way to the pleasant balcony at the back of the house. There you can enjoy nice summer evenings or have your morning coffee and just enjoy the peace and nature. In the cozy living room there is a sofa group and dining table. There you can also light a fire in the fireplace to make it extra cosy.

On some days there are also summer concerts at the castle. Take the opportunity to take a trip with the steam train from Mariefred to Taxinge. Experience beautiful Lake Mälaren with a boat trip on the steamship that goes from Mariefred to the famous castle Gripsholm.
Popular is Lådbilslandet, which is a built-up miniature city where children between 3-9 years old can drive box cars with real engines. There are roundabouts, bridges and road junctions. There is a café where you can eat pancakes, sandwiches, sausages and ice cream. You can also swim there in lake Yngern. If you want a sandy beach with shallow water and jetties, Hökmossbadet is only 5 minutes from Lådbilslandet.
NYKVARN is conveniently located from the E20 highway and only 1.5 miles from Södertälje. You can get to Stockholm and Eskilstuna in less than half an hour by express train, and the bus service is well developed. The residence is as far from Mariefred as from Nykvarn, where both offer fast trains to Stockholm.
