You live on the owner's plot and have a spot for swimming closely down by the water. Here you have access to a fishing boat 13 feet with its own mooring in the harbour which is 1 km from the cottage. Helgasjön has many islands, bays, and straits. Here you mainly fish perch, pikeperch, pike, bream and roach.
In the cottage you have an open floor plan over the living room / kitchen and large windows to one of the patios. There is a large smart TV on the wall where you have access to C More with many channels. There is also WIFI is in the cottage. To reach the loft-bedroom you have to climb a steep ladder and please observe the low ceilings up at the loft that don’t leave room for standing straight.
You have two patios one with morning sun of 10 m2 and the one facing the lake is 8 m2 and has evening sun. As an extra service, you can choose to order cleaning at a cost of SEK 375 or clean yourself before departure. You can also choose to bring your own bed linen and towels or order at a cost of SEK 150 per person.
You only have 1.7 km to the nearest grocery store and into the very core of Växjö it is not much further. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping as well as nice walking paths, including around the lake of Växjö and at Kronoberg's castle ruins.
On a peninsula is Evedals Camping with a nature reserve and castle ruins as a neighbour. Here you have a restaurant, an ice cream parlor etc.
Växjö received the award "European Green Leaf Award 2018" so Växjö is Europe's greenest city. The city has good connections, Växjö Småland Airport is located just outside Växjö and a new station building is currently being built in the city centre, which will also be the municipality's town hall. From Växjö you can travel with both the Coast-to-Coast line and down to Copenhagen. Kalmar Castle is a nice excursion destination and why not a trip over to Öland.
The steamer Thor from 1887 is a Swedish steamboat with a home port next to Kronoberg's castle ruins and operates Helgasjön in the summer. A nice excursion destination. Lantcafét in Öhr and Glasriket as well.
