Description
Welcome to a charmingly renovated cottage on beautiful Tjörn, surrounded by forest, birdsong and idyllic gravel roads that lead down to the sea. The cottage is bright and welcoming with four plus two beds, a cosy bedroom, a lovely sleeping loft and a sheltered courtyard where you can relax in peaceful green surroundings. Inside you have an open social layout with a fresh kitchen, dining area and a living room with both a sofa and a comfortable IKEA bed sofa that becomes 160 centimetres when made up. The loft is suitable for older children or adults and offers two beds and small windows facing the barn. The bedroom on the ground floor has a new double bed and a beautiful feature wall. The bathroom has a shower, washing machine and underfloor heating, and from here you reach the private outdoor terrace with grill, furniture and evening sun. Several beaches with cliffs, small strands and jetties are only a few hundred metres away.
Things to do in Rösselvik and the surrounding area:
The cottage is located on a small peninsula surrounded by sea, perfect for walks, picnics and spontaneous swims. Tjörn offers many nice places to visit, such as the popular Korggubben in Kållekärr and the wide selection of restaurants in Skärhamn including tapas and west coast inspired dining. The Nordic Watercolour Museum is also located here and well worth a visit. In Rönnäng you find Skärgårn Bar and Restaurant and from Kyrkesund you reach the Pilane Sculpture Park with outdoor art in scenic surroundings. Sundsby Säteri offers walking trails, a café and a farm shop, and Tjörn Golf Club is a short drive away.
