Description
The recently renovated 137 m2 cottage called Agnestugan was built in 1918. The original wallpaper from when the house was built still hangs in the dining room, living room and one bedroom, which gives the house a museum-like feel. When the house was built, Agnestugan was one of the area's grand estates, which is why it was chosen to have a ceiling height of over 2.60 m on both the ground floor and upper floor.
The large kitchen with room for many people features recycled joinery from Lidhult, a joinery in Småland that manufactures solid wooden kitchens. In addition to the induction hob in the modern electric stove, there is the possibility of cooking on the newly installed wood stove. In addition to the fridge and freezer in the kitchen, the basement can be used for cooler storage and the large pantry keeps the temperature cool during the colder seasons.
In both the living room and dining room, you can use the brick stoves. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the stoves in the bedrooms.
The plot with its many apple trees offers opportunities for playing, socializing and other activities. There is plenty of space for outdoor activities and large areas for the pets who are also welcome in this cozy cottage.
Upstairs there is a bedroom with 1 double bed that can be moved apart.
The second room on the transition has 2 single beds.
There is a daybed in the living room. In the kitchen there is a kitchen sofa with an extra mattress to put on the sofa. Best suited for slightly smaller children under 12 years of age.
There is an incineration toilet with a nice sink where you fill the jug with water yourself.
If you want to shower, there is an outdoor shower next to the pump house in the immediate vicinity of the house by one of the apple trees. There is a screen around the shower. Enjoy a refreshing shower outdoors.
Things to do in the area:
The surrounding area with its beautiful cultural landscape offers, among other things, Julita Gård for those who prefer organized museum visits or you can just go for a ride or bike ride and see the beautiful mansions nearby.
In addition to the nice swimming lake Aspen, we are close to Hjälmaren, Sweden's 4th largest lake with everything it has to offer. The active will find many paths, forest paths and roads to walk, run or cycle on.
The swimming lake Aspen is about 8km away. Bus stop 1km. ICA store/post office 10km.
If you want to order beer/wine, you can book delivery at ICA Julita Hallen 10 km, representative for Post and Systembolaget.
Take a trip to Katrineholm which is 30 km away or to Eskilstuna 35 km.
The Julita Värdshus is popular to visit for a good dinner.
Magda säteri is an organic farm located in Näshulta parish, midway between Eskilstuna and Katrineholm.

The house is well equipped and has dishwasher, washing maschine, TV and and Wi-Fi. There is a fireplace for rainy days. If you just want to have relax with the family and the dogs, there is a large plot that is suitable for activities. Good to know is that when you book this holiday accommodation there is a cost for final cleaning of SEK 1,800 per stay. Julita is a small community in Katrineholm municipality. Take an excursion and visit Julita Farm. Here is the mansion with a park and nice buildings by Lake Öljaren. Have a coffee at the café or visit the farm shop. Södermanland is known for castles and mansions. Take the opportunity and make an excursion to Gripsholm Castle and Kärnbo church ruin. For the children, there is also a popular theme park Pettson and Findus farm and a playhouse. Europe's largest agricultural museum is also close by. If you want to shop, you should go to Vingåker which is a large outlet at Markskläder and Ittala outlet. Vingåker's golf course is also popular. In lovely Julita in Sörmland you can stay in this cozy red cottage Enjoy wonderful days with family, friends and pets. There is room for 8 people and 2 pets. Perfect for 2 families as there is a large cottage and a guest house on the property. In the main house there is 1 double bed upstairs and a room with 2 single beds when you come up the stairs. You need to pass this room to reach the bedroom. A toilet in the main house. In the main house there is a kitchen that has been renovated with period wallpaper. In the kitchen there is a wood stove. In the living room there is a large fireplace to enjoy in front of. Fiber is in the house and a smart TV. Fiber WiFi is also available in both the conservatory and guest house. In the guest house of about 20 square meters there is a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a refrigerator and a microwave. The guesthouse has a newly renovated bathroom with underfloor heating, a washing machine and a toilet with an entrance from the outside, so you don't have to go through the guest cottage to get there.
