Not far from the cottage you will find Högsjön which invites to both swimming and fishing.
At Högsjön you can also rent canoes and experience the beautiful nature in the area with a view from the water.
If you prefer to investigate the area by foot there are many beautiful hiking trails in the area. Take the opportunity to visit Flammafallet at Krokån which is only about 2 km away.
Egernahult is located close to the border with Småland so the excursion possibilities are many! Why not spend a day on a moose safari in Markaryd? This you find only 30 km away. Also don't miss the chance to visit Halmstad with its nice inner city which invites you to nice shopping and has a large selection of restaurants.
Near the city center you have access to beautiful beaches such as the East beach and a bit away you find Tylösand.
For the active, there is also the ski resort Vallåsen about 37 km away where you can go out on both alpine and cross-country skiing.
