Welcome to a cosy holiday home with a scenic and rural location outside Laholm – an accommodation that is perfect for those who want to combine peaceful holiday days with swimming, cycling and excursions.

The house has room for up to 6 people divided between three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third has a bunk bed. There is a fresh, newly renovated kitchen as well as a cosy living room upstairs with access to a balcony. A toilet with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer is located on the ground floor.

The house is beautifully situated on a hill with extensive views over cow pastures and the Halland countryside. During the summer, cows graze right next to the house and contribute to the genuine Swedish rural idyll.

Outside, there is a pleasant terrace where you can sit down and enjoy the view and the surroundings. A lovely place for morning coffee, lazy holiday days and warm barbecue evenings after a day filled with activities.

Nature, mountain biking and swimming nearby

This is a particularly good place to stay if you enjoy being active in nature. Within approximately 3 km of the house, there are both swimming opportunities and good opportunities for mountain biking.

At Lake Killeberga, there is a well-developed MTB area with several kilometres of constructed trails through beautiful woodland. There is varied cycling suitable for both beginners and more experienced MTB cyclists. The combination of forest, technical sections and well-built trails makes the area an exciting destination for cycling enthusiasts.

On warm summer days, it is also close to a refreshing swim in the lake. Being able to combine a day on the bike with swimming and then end the evening at home on the terrace makes the house an excellent base for an active holiday.

The area is equally suitable for those who prefer a calmer pace. Nearby, there are good opportunities for hiking and cycling, including Hallandsleden, and at the right time of year you can head out into the forests to pick mushrooms and berries.

The area is also appreciated by international visitors, and there are, among others, Germans who have chosen to have summer homes in the area. This gives the area a pleasant mix of Swedish rural idyll and international summer guests.

Things to see and do in Laholm and the surrounding area

From the house, you have a good starting point for exploring both Halland and parts of northwestern Skåne. In approximately 30 minutes by car, you can reach several popular towns and destinations, including Laholm, Båstad, Mellbystrand, Halmstad, Markaryd and Örkelljunga.

There is something here for both nature lovers and those who want to alternate the tranquillity of the countryside with restaurants, shopping, beaches and day trips.

Lagan is also within reach and is well known for its salmon fishing. For those interested in fishing, there is an opportunity to try your luck in the river, but please note that a fishing permit is required.

Golfers will find a golf course approximately 24 km from the house, and for those who want to make a longer day trip, Gekås Ullared is just over an hour away by car.

For those who enjoy mushroom and berry picking, vast forests await just nearby. Here, you can spend entire days wandering through the woods in search of chanterelles, porcini mushrooms and many other varieties of mushrooms. During the right season, there are also plenty of berries to be found in the surrounding forests – perfect for those who want to combine outdoor experiences with the treasures of the forest.
