Small cozy cottage with its own bathing cliff in a nice lake. The sawmill is located in an open pasture landscape with large oaks and sheep in the pastures. A private road leads to the peninsula which consists of two properties owned by the same family. The cottage, which was previously an outbuilding, has been rebuilt and decorated by the owner and now has a unique character. There is a separate bedroom with a double bed 160 cm wide and a sleeping loft with two beds 120cm//80cm wide. The living room has a sofa bed (140 cm wide bed), dining table for 6 people as well as a fireplace, TV and a splendid lake view. Brand new bathroom with shower and WC as well as sink and a small hall with underfloor heating. Patio surrounded by lilac hedges on one side and private patio on the lake side. Bathing cliff directly outside the house and also a smaller sandy beach. Wi-Fi and fiber internet. The house is located next to the owner's summer house and they can be on site sometimes.

To see and do in Odensvi and the surrounding area

Vimmerby is only 47 km away. Here you can go to Astrid Lindgren's World, which is a fairytale place for both young and old. Or you can visit Astrid Lindgren's Näs. This is where Astrid Lindgren was born and raised. This is the place where she has been inspired for many of her stories and books. You can also visit the MX World Collection, which is one of Europe's largest museums for those who like motorcycles in general and motocross in particular. They have a collection of over 350 different bikes and it's a unique collection you can see on site. Just outside Vimmerby you can go to Noisy Village and you can also make a visit to Katthult, where the Emil films were filmed. If you want to experience moose up close and also pet them, you can go to Virum Moose Park.

The coastal town of Västervik, which has been named Sweden's best summer city in 2020 and 2021, is a 45-minute drive away. Here you can walk and shop in galleries, boutiques and maybe make some bargains in the flea market shops or have a good meal down in the harbor. If you want to swim, you can go to the nice Lysingsbadet, which has a water park. If you want to go to a good spa, you go to the fantastic beautiful Gränsö Castle. You can also take a boat trip out to one of all the islands in the beautiful archipelago.

Good to know about the accommodation

Bed linen and towels are not included but can be added to your booking for: SEK 200/person.
Final cleaning is not included so you need to clean the house before departure.
Electricity is included in the price.
A small, simple rowing boat is included in the price.
