This cozy cottage is in Södra Vånevik next to a nice bay, 3 km north of the cozy town of Påskallavik. From the house's glazed terrace, you have a nice view of the bay.
The house consists of a small hall with a toilet. From the hall you enter the kitchen with an adjacent dining area with a sea view. The living room is furnished with a comfortable leather sofa group and Apple TV. From the bedroom, which has a sofa bed, you have access to a glazed terrace with a nice view of the bay. On the upper level you will find a newly renovated bathroom with both a shower and washing machine and two bedrooms. The larger one has a double bed and sea view and the other has two single beds. The plot has room for various activities for both children and adults. If you want to take a trip on the sea to perhaps try your luck at fishing, you have access to a rowing boat.
To see and do in Påskallavik and the surrounding area
In just 5 minutes' walk you will reach a nice swimming spot. The surroundings carry a rich history from the time when the place was used as a stone quarry. You can visit a museum about this just a short distance away.
The Oskarshamn archipelago offers fantastic fishing opportunities both inland and at sea. After about 3 km you reach the picturesque town of Påskallavik, where you will find a shop, a restaurant and a café down in the harbour. Oskarshamn is about 13 km away, where you have a larger selection of shops, restaurants, activities and other services.
The house's location is ideal because you have a perfect distance to day trips to Astrid Lindgren's World, Vimmerby's adventure park with high-altitude track and historic small-town Kalmar with its well-preserved castle and old town. Also take the opportunity to visit Småland's Glasrike known for its art of glass.
