Holiday house Höjden with fantastic location and private lake plot in Hölminge by the lake Bolmen. The cottage has two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room and two beds out in the annex (10 m2) which has electric heating. In the living room you have a fireplace that heats in the evenings.
Your holiday home has an open terrace with panoramic views of the lake as well as a large outdoor room and also an extra room where you can enjoy the view and the beautiful evening sun.
You also have a large terrace down by the lake with barbecue and seating.
The boat, which is a plastic boat of 11.8 feet with a 5 horsepower 4-stroke engine, is located at the pier on your plot.
There is also a small sandy beach if you want to go for a swim.
Cleaning can be purchased as an extra service at a cost of SEK 900 and if you want to avoid bringing your own bed linen and towels, it can also be ordered at a cost of SEK 175 per person.
Bolmen is Sweden's 10th largest lake with good fishing and swimming opportunities. There is plenty of pikeperch, pike and perch here. In Bolmstad harbor there is a waffle café open during the summer. The nearest shop is a rural trade in Tannåker where you can also buy a fishing license. From Tannåker you then take the bridge over to the island Bolmsö. From Norra Bolmsö you can then take the cable car over to Sunnaryd (and bring your car free of charge).
A nice excursion destination is to then drive south and visit Tiraholms Fish which is located on Bolmen's east side in Halland. There is more than just a farm shop (lake fishing, smokehouse, fish restaurant, hotel and conference). 8 km away is Unnaryd by Lake Unnen. Unnaryd is a nice little town with small shops and restaurant Alebo.
Ljungby, which is 17 km from your cottage, has a lot to offer. Restaurants, shopping and many museums such as. The Fairytale Museum and the Sven Ljungberg Museum. There are also plenty of second-hand shops here. Gamla Torg is worth a visit with a ceramics shop and Gästgivargården which is a very nice lunch restaurant.
In Ljungby there is a swimming pool, outdoor and adventure pool, mini golf and paddle. South of Ljungby in Hamneda you can visit Elinge Älgpark and feed moose. At Markaryd there is also Smålandet which has a moose safari and is worth a visit. so you should also take the opportunity to have a coffee at Gräddhyllans Lantcafe which is very nice.
In Lagan is Slussen, which is a large second-hand shop with a nice café. There is also a grocery store, Peter Sport which sells fishing licenses and fishing equipment and Laganland also has a souvenir shop, moose park and golf course.
