Welcome to this newly built attefallshus in Motala right next to the beautiful Varamobeach. Here there are beds for a total of 6 people divided over 4 beds in the main house and a double bed in an annex next door. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy the evening sun while grilling. The owners live in the house next door.
Access to wi-fi is included free of charge in the price and if you wish to buy bed linen and towels, this can be done at a cost of SEK 225 per person. You can also choose to perform cleaning yourself or order for a cost of SEK 700. Keep in mind that this house is smoke and animal free.
In this quiet residential area you have only a few minutes down to Lake Vättern and Varamon.
The nice beach is several kilometres long. The water is crystal clear, shallow and with a sandy bottom.
Take a walk along the beach to the restaurant Sjövik or Vätterhall. Some summer evenings they have music quizzes. Enjoy the sunset and an evening dip.
It is possible to rent pedal boats and SUP in Varamon. If you want to play adventure golf, it is also nearby. Paddle courses are also there.
In Motala city you can have lunch down by the harbour and watch boats.
Also visit Borenshult's locks and watch when boats are locked.
If you want to take a walk or run, Råssnäs is nice with exercise tracks in the forest and along the water.
There is also a jumping tower, jetty and an outdoor obstacle course. It is possible to rent a kayak and stand up a paddle in the Gulf of Paris via Motala Kayak.
If you want to go out on Lake Vättern, you can book a boat trip with M / S Kung Sveker which has shrimp cruises in the summer.
It is only 10 minutes to the cozy Vadstena. Visit the Monastery Church and the Castle. Shop downtown with cozy little shops. Take a tour of the city with the small train and guided tour around the city and the castle.
Visit Linköping if you want to shop a little more. There is Ikanohuset's mall and then lots of shops in the Tornby area. Worth a visit is old Linköping with cosy alleys and the Cloetta store's cheap sweets.
