    Description

    Special summer stay on a historic farm. Exciting and appreciated. Large family room with open plan kitchen. Bathroom with shower. A bedroom with a double bed, a bunk bed and a single bed for a child under twelve. Rustic wooden walls and floors. Small garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue for cozy barbecue evenings.

    The owner lives on the farm and it is also possible to rent SE09062, which is located on the same farm.

    Lovely countryside where the hens roam freely around the houses, fresh eggs can be bought.


    To see and do in Varekil and the surrounding area
    Here in southern Orust, you live close to Stenungssund, the fishing location in Mollösund and Ellös.
    Around the island there are many excellent trails for relaxing walks in a marine environment. Nice child-friendly sandy beaches for salty swimming or try your luck fishing from a cliff.

    Gothenburg is not far away if you get a bit of a big city craving. Shopping, Liseberg amusement park and lots of other fun things to do.

You enter an entrance hall with a glass veranda and then continue into a well-proportioned living room and open-plan kitchen with a large, lovely wood-burning stove. One bedroom with a double bed and one with a single bed and a bunk bed. Fresh bathroom with shower.

      To see and do in Varekil and the surrounding area
      Varekil is located in the south of Orust and is perfectly situated for excursions to many of Orust's pearls, including Ellös with its beautiful nature or Svanesund with its nice children's and disabled-friendly swimming area. The picturesque fishing community of Mollösund or take the ferry from Tuvesvik out to fantastic Kärringön.

      If you want to experience a day of big city life, Gothenburg is not far away. By car you can get there in about 1 hour. Here you can shop, visit one of the museums or visit the Liseberg amusement park. Yes, there are many choices.

      Welcome to this charming red cottage with white trim – a classic holiday home in the heart of Bohuslän’s beautiful nature, just 300 metres from the sea. The house is approx. 50 m² and accommodates up to 5 guests. There are two bedrooms, one with two single beds and one with a single bed, as well as a spacious sofa bed in the living room. The cosy interior combined with large windows creates a bright and airy feel throughout the house.
      The living room features a fireplace and a TV with Chromecast for cosy evenings. The kitchen is functionally equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and washing machine. WiFi via fibre is included.
      Outdoors, there are two lovely seating areas – one covered and one by the gable of the house – where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a barbecue in the evening sun. The large plot (approx. 2000 m²) is framed by dramatic Bohuslän cliffs and soft greenery – perfect for children to play, nature lovers, and relaxation. Three parking spaces are available on the plot, and the house is pet-friendly, so your dog is also welcome.

      Things to do in Mjörn and the surrounding area
      Mjörn is located in a scenic area on Tjörn, close to both cliffs and salty baths. Only 300 metres from the house, you’ll find a beautiful sandy beach and excellent opportunities for sea fishing. For those wanting to explore more, Stenungsund is about 15 minutes away with shops, restaurants, and activities.
      Discover charming coastal villages such as Skärhamn and Klädesholmen, or take a trip to the Pilane burial site and sculpture park. For families with children, a visit to the Nordic Watercolour Museum, local playgrounds, and nature trails is recommended.

      Good to know about this accommodation
      • A deposit of SEK 2000 is mandatory and must be paid on the day of arrival. It will be refunded approx. one week after departure if the house is left in approved condition.
      • Bed linen and towels can be added: SEK 190/person and SEK 60/person respectively.
      • Final cleaning is not included in the price. Guests clean themselves; cleaning materials are available in the house.
