Shower and toilet are in a building next door. There is a large bathroom with entrance from the outside. A small cute porch is right outside the door.
Inside the cottage you have a kitchenette with a small fridge equipped with freezer compartment. There is also a hob with two hobs.
A folding cot is available to borrow if booked before arrival. Free internet via wi-fi.
In this courtyard it is also possible to book apartment no. SE05020 and SE05021. Perfect if you want to have a holiday with relatives and friends. In the yard there are many tables and chairs if you want to grill together in the evening. The children can play freely in the garden where there are swings, rocking horses, sandpit and ball throwing etc.
Common to the 3 accommodations is that there is a carpentry shop where you can create works of art in wood. It is also possible to do crafts and draw in the shed. There is also a room with board games.
Just a few minutes away is Astrid Lindgren's World. Inside you will meet Emil, Madicken, Pippi and lots of other characters from the books. If you want to see where the films were shot, you can visit Emil Katthult, located a little outside Vimmerby. The children in Bullerbyn were recorded in Sevedstorp.
In Mariannelund is Filmstaden where you can experience scenes from lots of Astrid's films and also try to be in a film yourself.
If you want a little more adventure, there is Vimmerby Adventure is about 10 km north of Vimmerby.
There is also a large selection of hiking trails. Take the opportunity to pick mushrooms and berries if you rent the cottage in the fall.
If you want to see moose, you should visit Virum's Moose Park.
Good to keep in mind is to bring your own bed linen and towels, and that before departure the cottage must be cleaned and left in the same good condition as on arrival.
